FEM UP Training Programme
The training programme aims to provide participants with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to excel in entrepreneurship and professional environments. It focuses on building a strong foundation for business success while fostering personal growth and empowerment. By combining practical knowledge with opportunities for self-development, the programme prepares participants to overcome challenges, drive innovation, and contribute meaningfully to their professional and entrepreneurial journeys.
The programme is divided into two modules. Each module combines theoretical insights, practical exercises, and actionable tools for hands-on application.

Mastering Soft Skills for Success
The module focuses on building the essential soft skills needed to thrive in professional environments. Through its four learning units, participants will develop key abilities in communication, presentation, and leadership to stand out in the business world. The module highlights skills like public speaking, crafting impactful business stories, and engaging effectively with stakeholders.
By the end of this module, participants will have the tools to communicate with impact, lead with confidence, and navigate professional challenges with ease.

Building a Strong Business Foundation
This module equips participants with essential tools and skills for starting and running a successful business. The focus is on creating sustainable business models, securing funding, maintaining quality, and using market research to fuel growth and success. The module is designed specifically for beginners and includes four sets of technical skills crucial for launching a start-up.
By the end of this module, participants will have the confidence and know-how to build a strong foundation for their entrepreneurial journey.
Training Programme Delivery
The programme is delivered entirely online via the FEM-Up Plat, blending self-paced learning with weekly live webinars and guest lectures from industry experts. This approach ensures flexibility while maintaining interactive and engaging learning experiences.

- Networking opportunities with peers and experts from 6 countries.
Assessment & Knowledge Evaluation
The programme includes both mandatory and optional assessments to support your learning journey.
Mandatory Assessments
At the end of each module, you will complete self-assessment tests designed to evaluate your understanding of the material. A minimum success rate of 60% is required to progress to the next module.
Optional Assessments
Within each module, you will have access to optional tasks, ranging from reflective exercises to practical and analytical assignments. These are designed to deepen your understanding of the material and enhance your learning experience.
Case Studies
After each module, you will work on a case study and accompanying task to test your knowledge and understanding of the module’s content in a practical context.
While the optional tasks are not mandatory, we strongly recommend completing them. They provide valuable insights and practice that will support your entrepreneurial journey and help you apply the concepts effectively in real-world scenarios
Training Programme Duration
The programme contains two modules, each module is divided into focused learning units spanning altogether 10 weeks including work on module-related case studies providing an engaging and comprehensive learning experience tailored to develop personal, professional, and entrepreneurial success.
Each unit last 1 week, starting with a webinar as an introduction to a learning unit. Each week will host a guest lecturer, an expert on the week’s topic.
Estimated workload: 7 hours of independent learning per week depending on pre-knowledge and experience.
After each module, a case study and assignment are available for you to test your progress.
Mentoring Programme
The FEM-Up Mentoring Programme it is a six-month initiative from January to June 2025, designed to empower young women aged 18-30 in entrepreneurship.
The programme aims to develop both technical and soft skills, and the mentoring framework focuses on providing participants with hands-on guidance, training, and resources to foster their growth as future entrepreneurs and innovators.
Participants who are eligible for mentoring will be assigned mentors and will receive. ongoing support through either one-on-one or group mentorship sessions, depending on their preference, from January to June 2025.
It is encouraged that participants meet with their mentor online once a week to ensure consistent progress and guidance.
FEM-Up Event
The core event of the project is Jobs of the Future Event. This event will bring together industry leaders, mentors, and entrepreneurs to discuss upcoming trends and opportunities in STEAM and entrepreneurship. A key focus will be on showcasing female role models who will inspire and guide participants by sharing their experiences, highlighting career opportunities, and providing practical advice for navigating the entrepreneurial landscape.
Contest
At the end of the training and mentoring programme, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their business model and pitch their business idea. The contest consists of two stages:
National Contest
Where participants present their ideas to a national jury. Participants eligible for the national contest should take note of the following important dates:
- Submission of the Business Model Canvas & Pitch: 4 May 2025
- Announcement of the National Winner: 12 May 2025
FEM-Up Contest
where national winners will compete before an international jury in June 2025 in Maribor, Slovenia. National winners or winning teams will represent their countries at the FEM-Up Contest during the project closing event in Maribor, Slovenia, scheduled for June 2025.

Grand Prize
The grand prize includes professional consulting to develop a custom-designed business plan and a unique visual identity for your brand.
